Flooring Placed in a State Of California Public Child Care Facility is chipping. The laminate chips, because the product is manufactured in China, may pose a potential health risk to children if ingested, and to pets.

Pertaining to the above report, the consumer has sent to the Clearinghouse additional information, including her license for a public child care facility through the state of California, and a CD of pictures. The problem is the floor is chipping, hence like paint chips, the chips can be ingested by small children and pets, and the product contains Formaldehyde. Note, if ingested by small children, it can pose greater health risks to the child, as well as animals. Read below, the NIH is a government website, the CPSC is a government website, your division should be reading health risks in which NIH posts. Some of the flooring chips are large enough for a small child to see and place in their mouths.
