The product, in the report: Natural Therm Lapolla Foam lock-500, spray foam insulation

My report is to let the public know the consequences of being around during and after spray foam insulation installation in the home. On 9/20/19 we were having our home repaired with Natural Therm Lapolla Foam - Lock 500 being sprayed in the kitchen ceiling and master bedroom and bath ceilings. This is a second home which is very small about 1100 square feet. My husband was in the family room during the process until they told him not to be in there, I was outside. Afterwards we all entered the home to review the job and make sure we were happy. This is when I asked about the toxicity of the product and how long it would take to be safe in the home since we were planning on sleeping in the family room which is openly next to the kitchen. We were told when the smell was gone it would be safe to be in the home. I was then told to open windows and doors in the upper master bedroom to let this floating molecule out of the house. I went into that bedroom several times to open, close, and open again windows and doors. We then left the house and came back later in the day to sleep in the house. We both have suffered immediate health consequences from this incident. My throat and tongue felt as if it were coated in a thick yellow substance. I had a minty and tingling feeling in my throat, roof of mouth and tongue. Over the next month, these symptoms felt worse and other symptoms began, vision impairment, puffy feeling in top and sides of throat, white lesion deep in throat, loss of taste, large bumps in back and on sides of tongue, hoarseness, continued minty or metal feeling all over tongue, eyelid puffiness, extremely dry mouth. I had hoped these symptoms would go away. They did not. After looking in my mouth with a flashlight, I was frightened by what I saw. Everything was yellow and looking inflamed. I immediately went to a primary care doctor who did not know how to help me but treated me for thrush in case it helped. I then went to an ENT who totally refused to acknowledge my concerns of my exposure to isocyanates and told me I had burning mouth syndrome. I then contacted CDC and local poison control who were not helpful. I of course know that my exposure to this chemical cannot be undone but am very concerned if cancer will be in my future. Also the fact that doctors don’t seem to be very aware of how to treat someone with a chemical exposure, or at least tell you where to go and what to do, was surprising to me. It seems to me that this chemical is very dangerous during application and during it’s airing out time and should be emphasized to home owners, do not be in the house at all!! The info online only addresses workplace exposure and the health impacts were death from extreme exposure, the milder symptoms were skin irritation and asthma. Nothing online addressed my symptoms. My husband is also experiencing many of the symptoms that I have.
