Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

  1. Hurt, no treatment

Made May 27, 2023, sent to the company May 31, 2023, published by CPSC Jun 14, 2023

The product, in the report: Loctite Tite Foam Gaps & Cracks Spray Foam Sealant, Polyurethane Expanding Foam Insulation - 12 fl oz Can

Bought Loctite Tite Foam 12 fl oz Can, Pack of 1 off of amazon. Order was placed May 24, 2023. Product arrived May 27, 2023. When it arrived I assembled the it as instructed on the can. I was trying to seal cracks around a newly installed window air conditioner. I put tube on the can into the cracks around the window air conditioner. I then pressed down on the spray nozzle mechanism and foam sealant came out the sides of the can on the top of the can. It basically exploded. Spray foam went everywhere and I was left with burns on my hand and damaged to the window air conditioner and window it is in.
