The product, in the report: Insulation
Caller stated that she had health symptoms after the fiber glass insulation was installed. Symptoms were nausea, stomach illness, weight loss and respiratory problems. Medical attention was received but she was still feeling sick. She stated that the insulation was installed February 12, 2024. She stated that she recently had exhaust fan for the attic installed and turbine for the vent of the roof, and now she is feeling much better.
The company was contacted but they were unable to assist her.
Caller feels that this insulation is a health hazard and should be reported.
(6/28/2024): I did feel much better (wasn’t vomiting all night) when I got the 3 turbines on my roof but still couldn’t function normally as I had the insulation removed (cost me $1200).
My attic is bare and I’m still struggling with nausea and asthma (allergies).
