While removing the batteries for storage the battery blown up in my hand. It resulted in trama to my two fingers and left eye lid and mentally traumatized. I notified CVS immediately, spoke to Donna the on duty manager at 7:50 pm.

Approximately 07:30pm on 1-4-2018 I was removing batteries from snoopy light up and greeting my husband as he was just getting home from work. We heard a VERY loud explosion throughout our home. I was in shock not knowing what had just happened. My hand was burning and my face was tingling. My husband directed me to go wash my hands and face because the battery exploded. He was right. One of the three batteries exploded while trying to remove the batteries prior to storage. The reside was on the table and the back of the battery landed on the floor with the front on the table. The snoopy light up does not appear to have any physical damage that I can see. I went to wash my face and hands and discovered my finger blistered and lay face and eye was feeling abnormal. A blister later developed on my left eyelid. My daughter and granddaughter came running down the stairs as a result of the loud explosion noise. Approximately 7:55 I called CVS and spoke to the manger on duty. She asked for my personal information to pass on to her manager for followup with me. I informed her I would be notifying this organization as well as the manufacture on a defective safety issue on product. I feel I will be ok the than traumatized
