The product, in the report: 100 count LED Battery operated with timer indoor/outdoor garland lights
I had bought battery operated Christmas light from the “At Home” store. I inserted the batteries and tested the various light functions. I turned the device off. My mother had been at my home, while I left. She smelled burning plastic and finally realized the battery compartment was melting and batteries were about to explode. She quickly got them out and put the entire lighting system outside due to smell.
