The product, in the report: 6ct Suction Cup Ball - Spritz: Multicolor Party Favor Toys for Kids, Birthday Party Supplies, PVC, Ages 4+
6ct Suction Cup Ball - Spritz: Multicolor Party Favor Toys for Kids, Birthday Party Supplies, PVC, Ages 4+ Purchased from Target are intended to be placed in gift bags for birthday parties etc. suction balls have been reported to Target that they have high levels of chemical smells. These smells become present in candies or other edibles placed in a gift bags for birthday with the balls. Chemical taste found in candies can cause nausea and smells can cause headaches. Target has not commented on the numerous consumer reviews on the website. I am concerned that outgassing from plastics are the result of the smells and could contaminate food. I ate a piece of candy placed in a gift bag and was hit with a severe chemical taste and nausea. These product should not be sold as a child’s gift bag toy if chemicals pose a risk.
