Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Light pink “Best Friends” water globe

Yesterday my 10-year-old granddaughter’s best friend gave her a Danbury Falls Water Globe Co. “Best Friends” water globe (SKU 654870) for Christmas. She was leaving to go home tonight and barely bumped the globe on an upholstered chair and it broke into hundreds of pieces. The glass is almost as thin as a piece of waxed paper! Had this been dropped on her foot, it would have cut it to pieces. She fortunately only received a small cut on her hand where a piece of glass fell. We have had a hard time cleaning up the glass because it is so thin and have received several small cuts to fingers

This product was purchased from Things Remembered. This globe and all others made by Danbury Falls Water Globe Co. need to be recalled immediately! They are extremely dangerous!
