The product, in the report: 18 foot plastic beaded garland, metallic blue-green in color, for winter holidays

When I opened the packaging I immediately smelled a very strong chemical odor on the garland, similar to a combination of garden fertilizer and pool chlorine. After handling the garland for about 5 minutes (I was hanging it in a well-ventilated space) I began to feel quite dizzy and nauseous. My symptoms stopped within 10 minutes of stopping exposure to the garland, washing my hands thoroughly, and seeking fresh air.
