As each report says it, in short words; CPSC’s own words are under each.

The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Candy easter egg (1/2 is a toy, 1/2 is sealed candy.

We purchased two Kinder Joy eggs individually at King Soopers in [REDACTED] a few days ago for easter baskets. The egg comes in two sealed parts. One side is candy (with its own seal), and the other side contains a toy. When my daughter opened her egg this morning, the inside of the egg had glass shards in it. I couldn’t tell if there were more inside the filling, which we left alone. I called King Soopers to let them know that they should take the product off the shelf. I am not sure the expiry date or lot number, as this information wasn’t on the individual packaging.

I posted this information on the Nextdoor website, and another neighbor responded and said that he experienced the same thing.

I also contacted the manufacturer, but their online form would not work (would not allow me to input my city), so I called them, but they were closed. I also tried the online form with other browsers, to no avail.
