  1. No one hurt

Made Dec 2, 2014, sent to the company Dec 12, 2014, published by CPSC Dec 30, 2014

The product, in the report: Winter Park 9ft white tree with white lights

Christmas tree lights went out and plug started melting. Blistered and charred the plug. Both fuses were still clear and intact. Tree had been used for 3 1/2 weeks last year, and 2 days this year. It was stored in a dry area in a proper storage bag. The first year we set it up the lights had gone out and we replaced the fuses with the ones provided with the tree. It would have caught fire, if not unplugged.
