The product, in the report: 300 clear mini Christmas light set
Purchased Holiday Time 300 clear mini lights, I had placed these lights on our Christmas tree. Approximately an hour later I smelled burning plastic and found a bulb melted into the light base and into the tree. No injuries occurred. It could have caused a fire if I wasn’t sitting in the room.

No one hurt Made Jan 1, 2020, sent to the company Feb 7, 2020, published by CPSC Feb 24, 2020
The product, in the report: 50 LED Warm White Mini Lights: Green Wire: Lighted Length 10.5ft. Model 78-518A UPC 761878785185
The product was being used in conjunction with a garland on a fireplace mantle. I was plugged in approximately 4 hours a day during the Holiday season. One night, we smelled what we would describe as an electrical burning smell. After investigating, I fortunately discovered that half of the strand was not lit and the smell seemed to be coming from the mantle. I immediately unplugged the light strand. The next morning, we unraveled the strand from the garland and noticed that one of the two green nubs on the line had completely melted.
