The product, in the report: 6 foot Shiny Pre-Lit Christmas Tree. It is a plastic Christmas Tree that has colored lights built into it. So you plug the tree in the wall for the lights to be on. Code: K11, SKU: 360027346
I bought a “6 foot Shiny Pre-Lit Christmas Tree” from Big Lots in La Canada, CA. Manufactured by WCL in Rancho Cucamonga. The tree plug caught on fire in the outlet. It blew out of the wall and the prongs are melted. I left the house with the tree plugged in and I came home to the plug blown out of the outlet. There was black soot on the outlet. Big Lots should recall all these trees before someone has a serious house fire. It is a new outlet and one that we use all the time for a lamp without any problems. I also sent an email to Big Lots.
