The product, in the report: Enchanted Forest 7-1/2’ pre-lit Keystone Flocked Spruce

Last year we purchased our Enchanted Forest 7-1/2’ Keystone flocked spruce pre-lit Xmas tree. We put it up and plugged it in for the first time 12/13/2022 and in a few minutes it started to strobe slowly/lightly. Shortly after that the middle and lower sections began to glow extremely bright and then right away those sections blew popping a few of the bulbs while the others remained intact but they were all still burnt. I’m not sure what would cause this issue besides faulty wiring or bulbs that might’ve been broke before we put it together and failed to notice. I feel like this is a safety problem and could cause more problems in the future if not addressed. We have 2 dogs and when the lights blew our 7yr old yorkie got shocked from one of the broken bulbs, no harm was done but it could’ve been much worse considering he or the tree could’ve caught fire. I think this is a reasonable situation for a full refund considering how expensive the tree was and the fact we have to go without a tree for the holidays, and not able to afford a new one at this time.
