The product, in the report: Artificial Christmas tree Retailer states: OH & IN See attached receipts

Caller stated that he experienced problems with the artificial christmas trees he purchased in 2012. The failure of electrical wiring was noticed in December 2013 when the tree was being assembled again, the lights were extremely hot when it was plugged in. One of the trees was never opened but when it was plugged in the lights started to bubble from overheating.

(12/2013 - 1/2014)The retailer was contacted but he was informed that someone would contact him, no one did and he felt that they were not willing to assist him. During the times that he had contacted the store he has been transferred through different departments.

Caller feels that the christmas trees are a fire hazard and should be reported.
