Our flocked Christmas tree released massive amounts of toxic dust simply by taking it down. I was the one taking it down. The product was Best Choice Products LSSI-100/2F. We found out recently the tree was flocked using toxic chemicals, including Diisononyl phthalate and we realized how easily these chemicals are aerosolized simply by taking the Christmas tree down, putting it together, or even placing/removing ornaments on it.
