The product, in the report: Balsam Hill Aspen Estate Fir 9’ tree https://www.balsamhill.com/p/aspen-estate-fir-artificial-christmas-tree Instructions on how to string the type of bulbs used can be found here: https://www.balsamhill.com/how-to-hang-christmas-lights-on-the-christmas-tree I believe I followed all instructions, yet the needle material could not withstand normal use
I recently purchased an artificial Christmas tree from Balsam Hill (www.balsamhill.com). While setting up the tree and placing lights on the tree, it became apparent that the tree was not designed to be lit by traditional bulbs, despite being assured by the information on their website and in promotion materials. After only being lit for about 15 minutes, and while adjusting branches, I discovered that the heat from the bulbs melted the needles on the tree right onto the bulb. I immediately shut off the lights and contacted Balsam Hill for advice. Obviously, this poses a huge fire hazard and I hope no one has been injured yet.
