First aid Made Feb 4, 2026, sent to the company Feb 9, 2026, published by CPSC Feb 24, 2026
The product, in the report: The exact name from Amazon is JOBON Butane Torch Lighter, Refillable Candle Blow Lighter, Grill Kitchen Flame Thrower Torch, for Baking Cooking BBQ Camping Creme Brle - No Gas Included (Old Gray Lacquer With Brown) and there was a safety warning issued from CPSC about this exact product. I cant provide as much details about it I bought it a while back and cant remember much about it but I do still own it.
While using the torch lighter I bought from Amazon the JOBON butane torch lighter, it started to light like a flame thrower and it most of the time when that happened it wouldnt stop. On top of that the locking switch did NOT work it would sometimes try to light it self while in my pocket if I was to lean over something.
