CPSC lead and cadmium violation: Reporting a Marvel Ultimate Spiderman Red Pencil Pouch tested by EPA Method 6020B for total lead by the Washington State Department of Ecology in replicate (3) on 10/10/2023. Lead concentrations were found at 1630 ppm, 1690 ppm, and 675 ppm in the replicates of the internal black seam tape components. Cadmium concentrations were found at 927 ppm, 954 ppm, and 402 ppm in the replicates of the internal black seam tape components. Products were purchased online from Walmart.com distributed by Directwells on 7/12/2023. Products were tested at request and in partnership with the Washington State Attorney General’s Office.
