  1. No one hurt

Made Dec 17, 2022, sent to the company Dec 20, 2022, published by CPSC Jan 5, 2023

The product, in the report: The WITE OUT FLUID CORRECTOR is a small bottle with 0.7 oz white fluid in it which has an intoxicating odor and it is made in Malaysia. On its cartoon cover it has the transparent part that covers the bottle and the back side that writes BIC WITE OUT AMERICA’s #1 correction Brand and it has part of the package on orange color and the other part on blue color and on a yellow background is written Quick Dry Correction Fluid.

The BIC WITE OUT company is selling out in the market small bottles with wite out which have quick dry correction fluid. This fluid has an intoxicating odor that made me nauseated and gave me a headache while I used it.I had called BIC corporate many months ago about this issue and told them about the intoxicating odor of their fluid correction product, but I recently purchased another bottle of that same corrector fluid and it has an intoxicating odor on it, so I decided to report it here. A lot of us use this fluid including kids at schools, BIC MUST COME WITH NON ODOR /NON TOXIC PRODUCTS. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!... I had to [REDACTED] BIC ‘s corporate’s tel# because they do not print their tel# at the back of their products. Why is so? In case of emergency if people get sick from drinking this fluid we need an 1800 tel# to call right away for some medical advice. Why is BIC hiding their tel#??? This is NOT good...We need for every product to have that written on their items and their packages. Also we need for these items to have a production and an expiration date on them too both at the package and on the item, so that we can see those dates.. Please inspect this fluid and all the other BIC products and do what is needed to be done. Why are we as consumers put through so much intoxicating products?! Is any one inspecting our products in our markets?! Please bring those issues to the BIC’s management and to the appropriate departments for further attention.Thank you!
