The product, in the report: Infant carrier

Caller is reporting that the plastic piece that held the strap together on the infant carrier snapped while she was carrying her 7 month old child. Fortunately she was able to hold the child or this could have caused severe injuries.

The manufacturer was contacted and they requested information which she tried to provide to them, however, the company has not provided a replacement although the product was registered and it is a safety issue.

Caller is concerned that this infant carrier is a safety hazard and should be reported.
