The product, in the report: This is a rocker for newborn babies. It is supposed to most closely imitate a mother or father rocking their baby. It has a plastic arm with a toy that hangs over the rocker so the baby is amused. The plastic on the arm is so degraded that it hangs well below where it was intended, potentially harming the baby. My daughter bought it in 2016 and has used it for two of her four babies, but couldn’t use it for the last two because it was so unsafe.

My daughter purchased a MamaRoo for rocking her four babies. The plastic on the arm has degraded so badly that a baby could be injured because the arm hangs down so low on the rocker. I told her it was unsafe to use it and suggested she contact the company. We did but they refused to replace the arm with a new one.
