The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

My daughter was injured rocking normally with parental supervision.

There are a ton of reviews of this product on Amazon that mention the same concern. The implication that a parent is not watching their child when using the product, implies that the child could safely operate it on their own without concern for injury. This product is not sturdy at all. “Designed for 10 months and up” is inaccurate. We never felt it was safe for a child of any age or weight. The front of the rocker slides forward with the slightest movement and it sways side to side so easily that when we tested it with a doll, the doll went flying off. The ladybug is not properly attached to the base nor are the proportions of material safe for use. There is no belt and the handles are too far away for the average toddler’s arms to adequately reach them.

To ensure it wasn’t operator error, we’ve attempted to use the rocker numerous times and each time, if we were to let go of her or not hold onto to our child, the rocker would flip her forward, landing her on her head and then the rocker would flip on top of her.

It is my belief that this product is a consumer hazard and should be taken off the market. It SHOULD NOT be sold or handed down, but destroyed.
