Hurt, no treatment Made Apr 9, 2020, sent to the company Apr 17, 2020, published by CPSC May 8, 2020
The product, in the report: Baby einstein jumper bouncer with the sun. It’s blue, green, yellow, white legs, red leg pieces, purple robe pieces
I had my son in the bouncer when, all of a sudden, when little purple rope attachement to the red circle pieces on legs on one side snapped. Thankfully he’s only inches from the ground but still must’ve hurt his toes and scared him cause he was crying for about 5-7 minutes even while being consoled. It’s not even old, so I’m pretty confused on how this happens and thank god he didnt hit his head or face when he landed

The product, in the report: Bouncer Seat
The consumer stated that her 6 months old son weighing 17 pounds flipped backwards while being attached in the restraints of the bouncer. His feet were suspended in mid air while his head hit the floor, there was no injury but this caused the child to scream.
5/6/13 The manufacturer was contacted and she was advised that the child might have outgrown the seat, she advised them of his weight and his age which the seat indicates and clearly is within guidelines (up to 25 pounds). She was informed that if he can move his legs he need a different nursery equipment.
The consumer feels that this bouncer is a safety hazard and should be reported.
