Emergency room Made Oct 12, 2025, sent to the company Oct 27, 2025, published by CPSC Nov 26, 2025
The product, in the report: Baby Delight Alpine Deluxe Portable Bouncer, Infant, 0-6 Months, 100% GOTS Certified Cotton Fabrics, Organic Oat
My 5-month-old daughter was sitting in a Baby Delight bouncer with the safety straps securely fastened. Despite being properly buckled, she was able to unbuckle the straps herself. As a result, she slipped out of the seat and fell forward onto her face. We rushed to the emergency room and thankfully she was fine with a swollen nose and forehead, but this incident could have caused serious injury, and I strongly believe this product poses a safety risk for infants. It should be reviewed and recalled immediately.

The product, in the report: Baby Delight Deluxe Portable Bouncer
My baby was strapped into the Baby Delight Deluxe Portable Bouncer as tightly as it would go while sitting in the chair as I was getting ready. I suddenly heard a bang, and when I turned around, I found that he had fallen to the side and then forward, landing headfirst onto the tile floor while still buckled into the seat.
The harness system on this bouncer is inadequate and does not prevent a baby from tipping forward while strapped in. This bouncer desperately needs shoulder harnesses to prevent babies from falling out, especially since my baby cannot sit up unassisted and should not have been able to fall out of the seat while secured.
It is also important to note that this exact same incident happened three years ago with my daughter in the same chair. At the time, I assumed it was a one-off accident, but the fact that it happened again in the exact same way with another child indicates a serious and repeatable design flaw.
This product poses a severe fall and head injury risk to infants, even when used exactly as instructed, and I am extremely upset and concerned about the danger it presents to other families.
I am requesting that this issue be investigated immediately to prevent further injuries to children.
Please let me know if you need additional details, photos, or documentation of the incident.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this urgent safety concern.

The product, in the report: Baby Delight Go With Me Alpine Deluxe Portable Bouncer, Peony Pink
My infant was sitting in the baby delight bouncer and was buckled and secured per the instructions. She was kicking her legs when the mechanism that adjusts the incline of the bouncer collapsed. Fortunately, I was playing with when it happened and was able to immediately grab her and prevent her from hitting the ground. I had checked that the mechanism was secure prior to placing her into it and had her on the floor.

The product, in the report: Baby Delight Deluxe Portable Bouncer in Alpine, model number BD05300
I received an infant bouncer seat as a gift. The bouncer seat as advertised had a full adjustable 3 point harness - this harness is depicted on the product’s website as well as on the box of the seat. However, the actual seat’s harness is not as depicted - it has 2 buttonhole style options for tightness, neither of which is remotely sufficient for my infant and would allow him to slip out of the harness.

The product, in the report: Baby delight grey inclined bouncer chair
My son was using the baby delight incline bouncer when the product collapsed on him and it slammed his head on the ground. He is 3 months old. He seems to be fine now but that should never happen. He was just sitting in the seat and it came unhooked from the latch and the seat collapsed to the floor

The product, in the report: Baby bouncer seat with a metal frame that adjusts to different heights, a mesh like fabric sling that slides on and off the metal frame and a fabric harness that buckles the child in
My 5 month old baby was sitting in a baby delight go with me alpine bouncer seat next to our dinner table while we were sitting down to dinner. She was buckled into the harness with the adjustable straps as tight as they could get. We weren’t facing her for a minute and heard a terrible scream from her and when we turned around she was upside down, face and belly to the floor, hanging from the harness (legs still strapped in). She was able to flip herself completely over. We are unsure if she actually hit her head or not although I think we would have heard something along with the cry if she did since we have wooden floors. Regardless it was way too close for comfort.

The product, in the report: Baby Delight Go With Me Alpine Deluxe Portable Bouncer in Charcoal Tweed Model BD05300
I am writing about a possible safety concern of a baby bouncer. We purchased a Baby Delight Go With Me Alpine Deluxe Portable Bouncer in Charcoal Tweed on June 17th from Amazon.com. Our son was born only days earlier, and turns 5 months this week. Today he had a fall out of the bouncer, without serious injury. We were in the room, but attending to our elder child, when the baby fell forward. He was still in the harness, and the bouncer fell on top of him. I believe he was leaning forward to try and manipulate a strap on the harness. He was face down on the floor and has developed red spot on his head. The recline adjuster was locked, and the 3 point harness was fitted securely.
At his last weigh-in at 4 months he was 15lbs. He can roll from supine to prone, and has prone to supine as an emerging skill. He is starting to extend his arms in prone. He sits in a high chair with a 5 point harness for 20 minutes at a time. He is not trying to sit up yet.
We will stop using the bouncer. Perhaps the safety guidelines are due to be revised.
Thanks for your consideration to this concern.
