Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

  1. First aid

Made Oct 13, 2022, sent to the company Oct 17, 2022, published by CPSC Oct 31, 2022

The product, in the report: Amazon invoice: Baby Bath Seat, Infant Baby Bathing Tubs Seats, Baby Bathtub Seat for Sit-Up Bathing with Backrest Support and Suction Cups for Stability for 6-12 Months (White)

Summary details: Bath seat caused shallow cuts during bath. Baby bath seat. Used to keep baby upright in bath.

What happened: Our child’s bath seat caused 2 long shallow cuts on their abdomen. The seat remains connected but individual parts can become unsnapped allowing baby skin to get caught. (I took photos of the the bath and the injury to our child)

Unfortunately, the manufacturer provided an unusable recall card that clearly didn’t meet regulation.
