  1. Hurt, no treatment

Made Nov 2, 2011, sent to the company Jan 17, 2012, published by CPSC Jan 31, 2012

The product, in the report: clip on chair

While the 23 pound 2 feet 22 month young toddler sitting in the chair eating her meal when the seam ripped causing her to fall to the floor and hitting her head on the table. She received a minor bump/bruise on her forehead and was treated at home for it.

The chair is a chair that clips onto the table and the seat of it is vinyl. The vinyl that wraps around the left arm that clips onto the table is what ripped. The chair was clipped to a wooden dinning room table.

She spoke with the firm on 11/2/2011 and they offered to send out a replacement seat cover but did not offer to take the chair that caused the failure back to evaluate it.

She still currently has the chair and has not used it since the failure and is awaiting a new cover.
