The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Peg Perego Prima Papa Zero high chair blush rose/pink color

For no reason the bottom plastic pieces are separating. I’m very disappointed in my purchase. For the wheels to be held on only by this plastic piece is a huge oversight on an engineering team. The company is basically telling the consumers and I “Trust your baby in our chair.” By the way is expensive and at this point unsafe and if I could I would return it back to BUYBUY BABY. Unfortunately I’m passed the return date. And No, no one has been staying on it to cause something like this. This has been from day one and we thought nothing of it until I saw that the wheels are only attached by that stupid plastic piece. The wheels are also not rolling as good as they use too either. The brake isn’t on so why would that be as well?

The product, in the report: Peg Perego - Siesta High Chair. (Color - licorice)

My 8 month old son was sitting in the Peg Perego Siesta high chair and his left pointer finger got stuck in an exposed hole which immediately caused pinching when the tray was raised. This resulted in a partially amputated open fracture, 7 stitches, and completely severed tendons.

The product, in the report: Peg perego prima pappa high chair Model number IMPPBSNA55PL46

My son fell and hit his eye on the pegs that hold the high chair tray on the legs while in storage. The high chair was standing up ready for use when he fell and it cut his eye lid. An adult was present at the time. I contacted the manufacturer and after several days [REDACTED] replied with “ Sorry for the slow response---we were closed two days due to a snow emergency travel ban. We are sorry to hear that your son was injured.  We hope that he is feeling better now. We do not have any other reports of accidents like the one that involved your son.   The high chair meets or exceeds all mandatory and voluntary safety standards. We certainly feel badly for your son, but based on the fact that there are no other reports of anything like your son’s accident or anything similar to the accident, it appears this was an unfortunate accident and an isolated incident.” It wont let me upload a picture of my sons eye because i am on my phone but even after several days it is still bruised, swollen and has a cut. This is definitely a safety concern and i want other parents to know about it and if it happened to them to report it also. When i researched if it happened to anyone else i found oit that chiccos high chair had been recalled for the same reason so why is this high chair not being recalled.
