The product, in the report: Infantino High Chair purchased at walmart. Raccoon front facing of the seat that is defective. Green/Gray colors and has metal framed legs. The product is supposed to grow with your child and be turned into different things , such as a stool and as seat you can strap to the dinner table chair. I believe any product for a high chair the backing of it should never detach
The Infantino High Chair comes in growing stages which is why I bought it. Although, even with the metal clips it has for the back to stay attached for a child to sit down with. That same backing detaches very easily. Even with the buckles locked on your child’s legs they have wiggle room from the shoulder straps that aren’t designed very well or comfortable to be on your baby’s shoulders so when my child was minding his business and eating the weight he put to relax on the backing of the seat , the seat gave out and slipped out the clips that are supposed to secure it and fell backwards, shooting my son like a bullet to the floor as his legs slipped out the buckles and his arms were wiggled out already. The issue here was that the backing no matter what does not hold any form of weight and will come unattached even with the clips that are supposed to hold the product together. My son almost cracked his head open and severely hurt his ribs, arms, head and shoulder. I had to take him to the hospital. The emergency doctor said no signs of anything broken just significant bruising from the fall. It has been about a week and my son is still sore when I try to pick him up by the rib to shoulder area. The high chair is not suitable for any baby or toddler. This item must be recalled!
