I am reporting the Summer Brand: Summer Infant Sweet Sleep Musical Swing, Swingin’ Safari. I bought this item just over 3 months ago for my baby I had a few weeks ago. I found that the straps that hold the baby safely in position are way too big for a infant. I have them as small as they can go and they are still too big and if my baby moves around the straps go over his head. I am afraid of the harm that these straps can cause if they were to get around his head or neck. Also, where the straps all lock together has a cloth cover to I assume protect an infant from them. It is so big that when the baby is in it, it moves up as the baby swings and it covers the baby’s face. This is not safe and could cause the baby to not be able to breathe. I have all straps as small as I can get them and they are way to big. The straps seem like they are made for a toddler not a baby but the swing is not made for a toddler. I am very concerned with the dangers the entire safety straps can do to infants. I emailed the company and they explained their return policy but did not seem concerned about the dangers.
