The product, in the report: Baby Swing

This caller purchased a baby swing from a nearby thrift store around December 22nd, 2014 and had no problems with it until February 6th, 2015 when her four month old baby daughter fell forward hitting the floor face first. The caller said that the lock for the seat did not catch to lock and the seat threw her forward while the 3 point belt held the bottom portion of her body in the seat causing her to hit her face on the floor. If there was a 5pt harness, she wouldn’t have been hurt. The baby’s mother picked her up immediately, checked her then periodically checked to be sure she was alright. She has taken the baby from the swing and is not using the swing at all.

The caller’s mother has contacted the manufacturer but the caller has no idea at this what conversation transpired.
