First aid Made Dec 14, 2025, sent to the company Dec 17, 2025, published by CPSC Jan 6, 2026
The product, in the report: Momcozy 2-in-1 Electric Baby Swing, Dual-Arm Support System & Parent-Inspired Motions, Convertible to Toddler Seat up to 66 lbs, Adjustable Height, Lightweight, Khaki
A motorized Momcozy baby swing caused a serious hair entanglement hazard. My almost 2 year old daughters ponytail became caught and wrapped around the swings moving mechanism more than twice. She was trapped, crying in pain, and I had to cut her hair to free her to prevent further injury.
There were no warnings about hair entanglement, long hair risks, or scalping hazards. The incident caused pain, emotional distress and ongoing head pain afterward. This posed a serious risk of scalp injury or scalping.
