The product, in the report: pink infant/toddler swing
We owned this swing with my daughter and when she was about 2 and a half years old (24 pounds) the swing broke when I was pushing her and she fell to the ground and got pretty banged up. I had wrote to the company explaining what happened and they did absolutely nothing about it and acted like I was crazy.. Now the same item is recalled, how convenient! I am beyond disappointed.

The product, in the report: Little Tikes 2 in 1 Snug and Secure Swing
The infant swing has straps that are “secured” in the back of the seat with blue plastic discs. The discs will slide through the opening. It is designed that way so the straps are adjustable to a larger child, but it is also dangerous. The discs can work themselves loose when there isn’t steady pressure on them and the baby can literally fall out of the swing. Also, the discs can fall off and the strap will remain through the back opening until there is some pressure from baby leaning forward, then it pulls through the hole. We lost one of the discs the first day of use.
I bought the swing on Amazon. One of the other customer reviews said that the front plastic piece broke and the baby fell out. http://www.amazon.com/Little-Tikes-Snug-Secure-Swing-Pink/dp/B001P5GRF6/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top?ie=UTF8
The latches that secure the front piece to hold the baby in are very hard to latch properly. If they aren’t pushed all of the way in, they pop out. They are so cheaply made that only one of our latches worked properly. The other popped out when baby was in the swing.
