The product, in the report: LAREX Baby Swings Electric Baby Swing, [REDACTED] Infant Swing, Portable Rocker with 5 Speeds, 1 Seat Position, Remote Control (Grey)
I purchased this baby swing from Amazon and have used it a few times for my 4-month-old baby. After each use, we noticed scratches and small scar marks on our baby. At the time, we were unable to identify the source of the injuries and did not initially suspect the product.
Today, during use, my baby sustained a more serious injury on her leg, including a larger scratch and a visible scar. Upon closely inspecting the swing, we discovered sharp edges and rough Velcro material near the buckle/belt area. These sharp components appear to be the source of the repeated scratches and injuries.
This is extremely concerning, as the product is designed for infant use and should not contain any sharp or hazardous edges that could cause injury.
I am reporting this incident due to the risk of injury to infants and to help prevent harm to other children. Photos of the injury and the defective areas of the product are available.
