(8/27/2026) Stork Craft Manufacturing Inc: Storkcraft takes product safety and reports involving our products very seriously.
The crib, when assembled and used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions, meets applicable federal safety requirements, including requirements governing spacing between crib components (16 CFR 1220). The product is tested by an independent, third-party CPSC-accepted laboratory to verify compliance with applicable federal safety standards and is Baby Safety Alliance certified.
The consumer acknowledges in the report that the crib was modified by adding a backerboard to the exterior of the product. This modification is not part of the product’s original design, intended configuration, or manufacturer-provided assembly instructions.
Because the product was modified from its intended and tested configuration, the reported circumstances do not represent the product as manufactured, tested, and intended for use.

My baby is teething and the crib is actually shredding apart. Big splinters of wood is peeling off of the crib. I contacted the manufacturer to see if this is normal even with damage and they suggested to use off market rail guard, which is not in the manual, therefore it is deemed unsafe sleep.

(4/29/2025) Stork Craft Manufacturing Inc: All cribs manufactured and sold by Storkcraft meet or exceed all federally regulated governmental standards and regulations in accordance with CPSC 16CFR1219 standard as well as the ASTM-F1169 Juvenile Products Manufacturing Association Standard.
The Consumer contacted our Customer Care Team February 28, 2025. The Consumer was provided a solution to replace the top rail that the child had been chewing. The Consumer has not responded to the offer at the time of filing our report.
We have investigated the data for this crib model and find it to be in compliance with all regulations and that the finish is non-toxic. We consider this an isolated incident that is not reportable, and no further action is currently required.

(12/9/2022) Stork Craft Manufacturing Inc: All cribs manufactured and sold by Storkcraft meet or exceed all federally regulated governmental standards and regulations in accordance with the CPSC 16CFR1219 standard as well as the ASTM-F1169 Juvenile Products Manufacturing Association standard. We have been in direct contact with the consumer. We can confirm that there has been no injury to the child. The consumer has also been strongly advised that any modifications to the crib that they have made themselves is unsafe and, that they should stop using the crib immediately. We are working to help the consumer to expedite free replacement parts for their crib.
We have investigated the data for this crib model and do not see similar incidents. Therefore, we consider this an isolated incident that is not reportable, and no further action is required at this time.

Our 3 year old twins were napping in their cribs when my wife heard one crying as if he’d been hurt. She opened the door and saw that his mattress was almost touching the floor in one of the corners. The metal support bracket that attaches the mattress support to the crib had broken. The mattress/support were at such an angle that our child could have easily been injured or suffocated.

(9/19/2022) Stork Craft Manufacturing Inc: All cribs manufactured and sold by Storkcraft meet or exceed all federally regulated governmental standards and regulations in accordance with the CPSC 16CFR1219 standard as well as the ASTM-F1169 Juvenile Products Manufacturing Association standard.
We’ve been in contact with the consumer prior to them filing this incident report. We can confirm that there has been no injury to the child. They’ve also been advised that if the child is over the height of 35 inches, that they should stop using the crib and consider transitioning their child to a bed given their child’s age and size.
We consider this an isolated incident that is not reportable, and no further action is required at this time.

We had an incident with my son’s grey Storkcraft Apline 4-in-1 Convertible Crib. When we went to go get him from his nap this morning, his leg was stuck between the slats past his knee. He was wearing a sleep sack, so we had to carefully remove it to try and get some lotion on his leg to slide it up and back out. It didn’t seem to cut off his circulation since we caught it fairly quickly. He does have a red mark that we will monitor over the next few days. After calming down from being understandably very scared, he seems to be walking just fine. He is about to be 1.

(5/18/2021) Stork Craft Manufacturing Inc: All cribs sold by Storkcraft meet or exceed all federally regulated governmental standards and regulations. Each crib must pass not only our rigorous internal testing but also third party testing and testing by the Juvenile Products Manufacturing Association. The maximum spacing of 2-3/8” between crib spindles is part of these standards (ASTM F1169) and this particular crib meets those standards.
