The product, in the report: Carter’s by DaVinci Colby 4-in-1 Convertible Mini Crib with Trundle Drawer in White, Greenguard Gold Certified, Undercrib Storage
My son is 15 months old and uses a Carters by DaVinci Colby 4 in 1 Mini Crib that was purchased new. We constructed the crib to the instructions but my son was able to remove the bolts on his own using his finger. I am also able to remove without any tools. This has happened with more than one bolt in more than one location.

No one hurt Made Jun 23, 2025, sent to the company Jun 26, 2025, published by CPSC Jul 11, 2025
The product, in the report: Jenny Lind Stationary Crib DaVinci baby by Million Dollar Baby Model number is M7391 Color is white All 4 sides are used (used only as a crib- not converted into a toddler bed)
My daughter, who is 2, has slept in a DaVinci Jenny Lind crib since she was a few months old. Last night (6/22/25) my husband checked on her at 8:10 PM and she was asleep and he closed the door. At 8:50 PM I heard her crying loudly and went upstairs to her room. I found one of her wooden crib spindles broken completely in half and out of her crib. The lack of spindle caused a gap that could have caused serious injuries to my daughter such and getting her head caught. I am grateful that this happened when I was awake. I contacted the manufacturer to share my concerns about safety but their response was only that the product is out of warranty as its more than a year old and that I could buy a replacement part. My 2 year old daughter sleeps in the room by herself, is the only one who has used or uses this crib, and we live in a single family home. The crib was purchased new by me and was put together at our home.

No one hurt Made Jan 12, 2021, sent to the company Feb 5, 2021, published by CPSC Feb 22, 2021
The product, in the report: The crib is the Carter’s by Davinci Colby 4-in-1 Low Profile Crib in Grey and White, with the Toddler Conversion Kit (M11999) and the [REDACTED] Toddler Mattress. Model F11901
My 21 month old toddler uses the Carter’s by Davinci Colby 4-in- 1 Crib with the Toddler Conversion Kit (M11999) with the [REDACTED] Toddler mattress for every sleep. Yesterday, I laid him down in his bed for a nap as per usual. After 10 minutes he begin screaming frantically. When I had gotten to his room, he had gotten out of his bed and attempted to lift up his mattress and then crawl up onto the frame. When he did this he fell through the mattress support frame. His left arm had fallen through one slat, and his right arm was bent at the elbow and wedged into another slat. Additionally, the mattress had fallen on top of him and trapped his entire upper body (including arms and head) between the mattress and support frame. I was able to pull him out fairly easily, and he didn’t have any visible injuries as a result of the incident. However, he was incredibly shaken up.
