The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Breathable Baby Crib Rail Cover - white - https://breathablebaby.com/products/railguard-teething-cover-long-side-white Purchased on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08BGPNPMJ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1

I would like to report a baby product that is dangerous product that doesn’t secure adequately.

My one-year-old was holding on to the crib rail and the [REDACTED] became detached with her pulling up. Because the middle tie secures only on one side, the cover pulled over to the inside of the crib in the middle and because she was holding on to it, and she hit her head. Thankfully she’s a sturdy kid and only had a bloody nose but if my baby had been younger or had she fallen in another way, she likely would have been seriously injured. This is a massive oversight. Imagine running into your nursery and your baby’s face is covered in blood, and this crib cover is pulled over on her. The ties were double-knotted, it’s the [REDACTED] that became undone. Why the ties only secure on one side and there isn’t a hole to pull the tie through so that both sides of the cover are secured is terrible design. This should be recalled.
