The product, in the report: Busy Learners Activity Cube by Vtech . Different colors Cube shape. Has sound affects

One year old put arm into free spaces on toy and it bruised his arm. He was sitting but the way his arm was it caused it to be a position that could have broken his arm easily had we not been sitting right next to him. Vtech easy learning cube. Age 13 months. Used in living room on the mat on our floor with 2 adults next to him. He was sitting playing and put an arm in the free space on 2 sides. Could have broken an arm but only bruised. He put his arm in while sitting on his knees as most babies do. He got his arm stuck and it hurt. We were able to free his arm but realized that he could’ve had a worse experience if we hadn’t noticed immediately and helped him. I see other parents complaining about the same issue but there babies were alone in a crib and got there arms or legs stuck but ours was sitting playing with the toy by us properly and still got his arm stuck and it hurt. Please fill the free spaces on the two sides that have them? We love this toy and that would be so perfect! Thank you so much ??

The product, in the report: Vtech Sort and Discover Activity cube. Learning toy for baby toddler.

I want to make a report on the Vtech sort and discover activity cube. My daughter, 18 months old, was playing with this product. On two different incidents, a month or so apart, she got her finger stuck on the inside hole of one of the gears. So stuck the entire cube was hanging from her hand while she was screaming. After some prying, it did come out. This was not an isolated incident, it happened twice. Each time took over a minute of trying to get this toy off her finger. Her finger is now red and swollen. I have tried to upload the images I have and this form is not letting me. Please email me if pictures or more information is needed.

The product, in the report: Vtech Sort & Discover Activity Cube

Two issues: First my (at the time) 1 yr 4 mo old granddaughter got her arm stuck inbetween the monkey and butterfly reaching into cube to retrieve one of the shape blocks. Then several days later she started getting her finger stuck in the back of one of the round gear type things from the inside of the cube. So had to take toy from her because she did that twice. Then about 3 weeks later, my (at the time) 11 month old granddaughter got her finger stuck in one of the holes from the inside of the cube - again in one of the gear shapes. She got her finger stuck on different days and had to take toy from her too. It’s like once they know that hole is there they just keep sticking their finger in it. If Vtech responds to this - any suggestions on what to use to block the holes so they can play with this toy again? Also, I didn’t put their home addresses, they don’t live with me, I babysit.

Turn the book page, twist the spinner and slide the animals to develop fine motor skills. The activity cube also develops hand-eye coordination with the shape sorter and colorful shape blocks. My 12 month old child was playing with her Vtech “Sort and Discover Activity Cube” today and got her arm stuck between two pieces on one side of the cube. Specifically, her arm was wedged between the spinning monkey and the sliding bumble bee to the point where the toy almost had to be broken apart to free her arm. This toy is rated for children between 9 and 36 months so it should be safe for her. Further, the toy comes with shapes that are meant to be dropped into the center of the cube so the child is encouraged to stick their arm through the sides which in the end caused the injury.

The product, in the report: VTech sit to stand tower. It has a dancing bear holding instruments

A child in my home day care was playing with the VTech sit to stand toy when she put the trumpet part in her mouth. She got it stuck in her mouth. When I tried to remove the toy, her two bottom teeth popped out. I tried to call VTech to report it and I didn’t get anywhere. I wasn’t aware that I could report it on here.

The product, in the report: V-tech sit to stand learning walker. http://www.vtechkids.com/product/detail/479/Sit_to_Stand_Learning_Walker

My 12 month old son received a toy for his first birthday. The toy is a V-tech “sit to stand” learning walker. Evidently a portion of the toy is sharp enough to cut, as my son was leaning on the toy, lost his balance, hit his head on the side of the toy, and needed to receive stitches from the emergency room. The injury missed his eye by less than an inch. The toy has small plastic squares, attached by a string, that fit into the corresponding square on the body of the toy. Either the square, or the square hole that it fits into has a sharp edge, and I feel that this is a poor design.

The product, in the report: Medium sized hard plastic “suitcase” toy with removable accessories on the front.

VTech Roll and Learn Activity Suitcase (amazon.com link: www.amazon.com/VTech-Roll-Learn-Activity-Suitcase/dp/B00CMNX3OS/) is rated for ages 1-3.

However, one feature, the opening of the suitcase is entirely unsuitable for this age range. The front is extremely heavy and can slam on little fingers entirely too easily. The weight is enough to potentially crush and cause major damage to the fingers and hands of children the ages the product is recommended for.

We have a VTech - Sit to Stand Dancing Tower for my 10 month old twins. And the following incident has happened more than once with this product. The first time I thought it may have just been a fluke accident. But each of them have hurt themselves. While standing and holding on to the handles the babys hand slipped and went into the handle. As he fell his arm remained stuck in the handle and he hung by his arm until I freed him. Each of them have been left with bruises from getting their arms stuck in the handles. The top of the toy freely rotates a few inches and thats when their hands slip. All of this happened while be supervised.

My daughter, who is fourteen months, was playing with the VTech - Learn & Dance Interactive Zoo which she has had for about six months. While she was playing with it, she went to press one of the four buttons on the top that sing about different animals, and her thumb got lodged under the button. I did not know what was wrong at the time, and when I saw the problem, I gently tried to pull her thumb out, but it would not come out. I had to pry the button up with my hand, with force, to finally free her thumb. She had a large indention from where it caught her thumb. I then looked underneath it, and saw that there was a very large gap in between the buttons and the toy itself.

Some of the cuts developed into ulcers. Baby was put on Ibuprofin and referred to pediatrician who referred back to the emergency room. Child was dehydrated and in pain/discomfort for days after the incident. He lost sleep as well. Consumer also lost sleep. There were long hours and days of crying out in pain.
