The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

  1. First aid

Made Dec 1, 2020, sent to the company Dec 21, 2020, published by CPSC Jan 7, 2021

The product, in the report: Summer Infant 4-in-1 SuperSeat® (teal) Item #13360A https://www.summerinfant.com/activity-floor-seats/4-in-1-superseat There is a tag on the cloth part of the seat with the number 18043082 and the safety tag has Reg. No. PA-29351 (HK) The manufacture’s address is 1275 Park East Dr, Woonsocket, RI 02895 This was manufactured in October of 2017 but not used until June of 2020 (I received it new in the box as a gift in 2019).

My child was playing with the toys on the toy bar of the Summer Infant 4-in-1 SuperSeat (teal) and the bar came off and hit her in the face. She cried in pain and I applied ice to the area because it was already turning read and looking swollen. I reattached the bar making sure to really push it down into the holes it fits into, and it again came off and hit her in the face as soon as she grabbed the beads on the toy bar. Additionally, the paint comes off when wet, including when wet from saliva on hands.
