The product, in the report: The Smart Steps Bounce N Play 3-in-1 Activity Center is a baby activity seat designed to entertain and engage infants. It features a rotating seat surrounded by multiple toy attachments, including a hanging toy b spinning ball, light-up piano keys, and textured play pieces. The seat allows for bouncing and turning, while the base converts into a play table as the child grows. It is marketed as a safe, interactive, and developmental product for babies.
I am writing to report a potential safety hazard with the Smart Steps 3-in-1 Activity Center. One of the toy attachments poses a strangulation risk. While my baby was in the activity center, she managed to slip the toy piece over her head. When she turned, it pressed against the front of her neck, holding her down. I was able to remove it immediately, but the incident made me realize how dangerous this could be if a child were left unattended. I believe other parents should be made aware of this risk, and the attachment may need to be reviewed for safety. I am happy to provide photos or video of the toy and a more detailed explanation if needed. Thank you for your time and for working to keep our children safe.
