The product, in the report: a padded portable play mat for infants. 40 inches in diameter, lawn green color.
we purchased a Nook sleep systems lily pad floor mat. after bringing it home, I washed it as per manufacturers instructions. while we were using the mat, my ankle got poked by what felt like a needle. when I ran my hand along the edge of the mat many fine plastic fillament threads were protruding from the edge. they were firm and sharp as needles and some of them broke off posing a choking or even could pierce the stomach or intestenal lining if ingested. I contacted Nook and they said they were aware of a manufacturing defect and replaced my mat.
