Unique pop-up sides help keep roll-away toys from escaping and double-sided boho-inspired print helps keep it visually fun for baby and considerate for parents. The compact, light fold & go design makes it easy to store away, move from room-to-room or take on-the-go. Folds compactly (57.8” by 57.8” open to 11.5” by 19.3” closed) for room-to-room, on-the-go & storage.

I noticed my 8 month old baby had a piece of very thin plastic wrap in his hand. He had ripped it off of his play mat which had started to bubble at the surface. We had only been using it for about two months when this occurred. He is our only child, so the mat wasn’t over used.

On July 18th, 2025 | was in the kitchen making a bottle for my son. I have a play pen in the living room, which is a room over so I can hear anything and poke my head out to see him. The play pen we have has a nylon flooring. Not very patted. So we bought this play mat to make the play pen more comfortable and SAFE. As Im in the kitchen, I hear severe choking and gagging. I run to my son and I pull out a piece of plastic. I am freaking out. Where did this come from? It came from the play mat. The top coating layer has started to deteriorate and peel. I have already gone through the furthest of extents to make sure that everything in my childs playpen is safe and that there were no choking hazards. Never in a million years that I would think a play mat could almost cost my sons life.

The product, in the report: Infantino Foldable Soft Foam Mat Go Gaga It’s a colorful soft foam baby play mat.

I have an Infantino Foldable Soft Foam Mat Go Gaga and the thin plastic layer started peeling. My baby started ripping off the pieces of the peeled plastic and putting them in his mouth. I believe that this is hazardous for a baby item to have plastic coming off of it. It poses a choking hazard and can be very dangerous if the plastic obstructs a baby’s small airways.

My mat has mild to moderate use. It was not used everyday, but had frequent use. I would expect that an item designed for a baby would be made of durable materials and would not have plastic components that would disintegrate and fall off. Luckily, I was sitting right next to my baby and was able to get the plastic out of his mouth right away, but some babies may not be as lucky if this happens frequently with this product.

The product, in the report: The Infantino Go Gaga! Foldable Soft Foam Mat is a double sided foldable mat for babies and kids to play on. It is multicolored on one side and grey and white on the other and the corners have straps so they can be folded up to help contain toys from rolling away.

The Infantino Go Gaga! Foldable Soft Foam Mat is covered in a thin clear plastic that over a short period of time erodes and becomes a choking hazard for infants. My 6 month old was able to pull a piece off and get it in his mouth. Luckily he was being watched but this could easily be a tragic outcome. I have seen that other reviews of this product recently have the same complaint.

The infantino gaga gym is for babies newborn and up to play with the hanging toys. My son who was not completely at a sitting position, pulled one of the poles and it snapped, leaving a foam and wired exposed. He could have easily poked his eye if I was not paying attention and removed the toy immediately. I have a picture of the product and tried to contact “infantino,” only to be blamed and patronized for not reading the instructions. There is not warning on the mat or anywhere visible. I mentioned that the warning could be easily placed on the mat or pole, but the customer representative told me there was not space, and I had to read the box. I was treated poorly and I only wanted to bring the matter to their attention. I was offered a replacement at first, but when I confronted the rep with her lack of help and sensitivity to the issue, she withdrew the offer and said she will tell her manager. I know many moms who are buying this product, and I definitely not recommending it. I am also making sure by doing this that parents or whoever buys the product are aware of the possible harm that it could cause to their babies.

The product, in the report: Infantino Go GaGa Stack, Sort & Ball Drop Elephant. According to Target.com product description: “It provides 4 fun activities in one fun toy. This friendly elephant comes with 3 colorful rings your child can stack on his trunk; 3 easy-grasp balls are fun to drop or to balance on the elephant’s trunk; spin the pinwheel with a simple pull down and activate music and lights. Plus, the 3-shapes sorter reinforces success with music and lights. This toy comes with a on/off and volume switch. It requires 2 AA batteries; demo batteries are included.”

My 11 month-old daughter was playing with her Infantino Go GaGa Stack, Sort & Ball Drop Elephant when I noticed she was holding the speaker in her hand, about to bite onto it. The wires had dislodged from the inside of the product, but was still attached to both the speakers and the toy.

The product, in the report: Infantino Twist and Fold play mat

My son was laying under his Infantino twist and fold play mat, when i noticed the stuff from the hanging toy was about to fall out. He has never been able to reach the toy, but even if he was able, the stitching in the toy should be solid enough that the stuffing does not fall out. It presents a choking hazard

The product, in the report: Infantino Explore & Store Gym - Pink - Unicorn

I wanted to let you know about a dangerous situation Infantino’s Explore & Store Gym’s can cause. Our daughter was pulling down the star shaped rings to her mouth, and one of the stars got stuck in her mouth between her gums. She could not get it out and her mouth was stuck open with the star lodged between her gums.
