The product, in the report: Gold Inc.’s Eddie Bauer fabric infant carriers. They are worn by the parent or caregiver with the baby strapped into the front. The recalled carriers are black with “Eddie Bauer” and “First Adventure” printed in gray lettering on the front, outside of the carrier.
Upon second use of the product’s sleep cover feature, the small buckle attaching the cover to the [baby] carrier broke, rendering the sleep cover useless. No immediate safety concern at the time, but certainly disappointing and made me cautious of using the carrier in future, so I discontinued use. Saw a friend recently post information regarding the recall, for the same reason I discontinued use.
