  1. No one hurt

Made Jan 11, 2020, sent to the company Feb 21, 2020, published by CPSC Mar 24, 2020

The product, in the report: Simply Nursery set, includes crib, Simply Nursery dresser, changing table tray for top of dresser.

I purchased a complete nursery set from Simply Nursery, after assembling the furniture and following all manufacturer instructions i noticed the wood from the side panels started to crack. I contacted the company, they sent me new side panels as replacements, when we opened the boxes to install them one of the replacement side panels was starting to crack as well. I reached out to the company again and they sent me yet another side panel that started cracking before it was even installed. At this point i have 5 panels from the company and 4 of them are defective. They start to crack on their own without being used. One of them cracked all the way through the wood, and turned into two pieces, you can see the cracks happen at the seams where the different pieces of wood are being glued together to form a bigger piece. It is not just the veneer cracking. Therefore, the furniture looses stability with each crack. Which makes their dresser and crib unsafe for babies. the company representative i have been in contact with continues to say their product is safe and they have all the Testing to prove it. Clearly they must have made some changes in their manufacturing that is leading to this issue and refuse to acknowledge it, their products are not safe for babies to sleep on, or to be used at all in a nursery.
