My grandson put his arms and legs through the slats of this crib several times. He and my daughter lived with us at the time. One night the entire house was awoken by a scream and was determined the next day that he suffered from a broken femur. It was night time and when my daughter went to retrieve him from the crib his leg was not in the slat so she did not see it but we believe this is how he injured himself. He was 81/2 months old at the time.
