Seen by a doctor or nurse Made Jul 5, 2019, sent to the company Aug 21, 2019, published by CPSC Aug 14, 2019
The product, in the report: The date of manufacture of the crib was July 2014. Model number 04540-459. Description: Rory Convertible Crib-espresso. PO_SA5068. SC: GB.
My 16 month old daughter got her upper arm badly stuck between a bar and a corner post in her Graco crib. That is the one slot between bars on the crib where the width of the gap varies from top to bottom. My wife had significant difficulty getting her arm out. My wife was very careful not to further injure my daughter’s arm in the process. My wife finally had to push on the bar hard enough to break the crib to free my daughter. My wife called me at work and said that my daughter’s upper arm was red and her lower arm looked misshapen compared to the other arm. She took her to the doctor to make sure she didn’t have a broken arm. The provider that saw her concluded that she did not have a broken arm. But she said that if my daughter’s bones didn’t still have so much cartilage in them, then her bone would have likely snapped. No baby should suffer and come this close to a broken arm due to the proper use of a modern crib.
The date of manufacture of the crib was July 2014. Model number 04540-459. Description: Rory Convertible Crib-espresso. PO_SA5068. SC: GB.
The manufacturer offered to send us a replacement of the part of the crib that broke. They contacted us later and said that they did not have the part, and that model was no longer in production. They offered to send us the materials to convert her crib into a full-sized bed, but my daughter will be in a crib for at least another year. They refused to send us a new crib or a credit that we could at least apply to a new one.

No one hurt Made Aug 11, 2018, sent to the company Sep 20, 2018, published by CPSC Oct 4, 2018
The product, in the report: Graco Solano 4-n-1 Convertible Crib, Gray with Drawer Underneath
I purchased a Graco Solano 4-n-1 Convertible Crib in April 2018. I have a 3-month-old son who is now sleeping in this crib, but he keeps getting stuck in between the front rails. Almost every night that he is in the crib, he screams out, and I already know that he is stuck, so I try my best to get there quickly. I have contacted Graco on 2 separate occasions about this issue, but they stated that since it meets the government regulations for rail spacing between the rails, that they cannot do anything about it. I was told by the last person I spoke with that the government regulations are there to prevent threatening or debilitating injuries, but I don’t feel that those regulations are true. When my son gets stuck, he is screaming out in pain, and when I attempt to free him, I have a tough time doing so. Once he gets bigger and attempts to free himself, he could easily harm his knee, leg, ankle, hip, etc. I have pictures of today when he got stuck that I feel would better describe the issue. This has happened probably 8 times already.

Seen by a doctor or nurse Made Apr 5, 2018, sent to the company Jun 13, 2018, published by CPSC Jun 27, 2018
The product, in the report: Ashland classic crib
Hello I have a Graco branded crib. Model number 04520-331-GH manufacture date July 2016. We bought new at Walmart March 2017. My son who is 10 1/2 months, 29 inches and 25 lbs, 2 times now has gotten his leg stuck inbetween the crib bars at the knee causing brusing and redness. The 1st time In Feb 2018 dad was watching baby sleep he heard a cry and babys leg was sticking out stuck at the knee cap. We got his leg out called the doctor and it was brusied for almost 2 weeks. After that I put up crib bumpers. Now on April 2nd again he woke up screaming I went into the room to find his leg stuck at the knee. My baby could have hurt himself worst. I called into to Graco to be told they dont make them just put their logo. I then called the company who made it and they said it is within the standards. But if my baby was any tinier and hes a big boy he could have hurt his hips. The bars need to be closer together.

Emergency room Made Mar 19, 2018, sent to the company Jul 3, 2018, published by CPSC Jul 18, 2018
The product, in the report: White infant to toddler graco crib 3 stages
My 10mnth old was in his Graco crib my 7 year old got into the crib and was play with my 10mnth old, i told my son to get out he was to big to be in the crib. He started to climb over tbe side of the crib to exit and his had slipped his arm became wedge between two of the rails of the crib he had started to go over the side and his arm was stuck between two rails in a sec his arm was broke into the bones holding the lower part of his arm together were broke in half. My son let out the most terrifying scream i had ever heard he ran into my arms and then his body went into sudden shock from the pain. He turned pale and became limp his arm was hanging by the skin i thought my son had died. Please for future childrens safty you need to make thw rails more close so limbs do not fit in between them i have the bed now in lowest setting but im so afraid my 10 month will get a limb broke or worse. Ive had 5 children and this has never happened until now. It was so scary these cribs are not safe no child deserves to break bones because their limbs get stuck between a rail.

Hurt, care not known Made Dec 31, 2012, sent to the company Feb 15, 2013, published by CPSC Mar 4, 2013
The product, in the report: Oak Classic Sarah Crib Production Date: 11/10/11 Bar code: 654582598341
The consumer says her son has gotten his leg stuck in between the railing of the crib about a half a dozen times. In one incident that child had bruising around the left knee. He says that his child will stand up, lose his footing, and his leg will get stuck above the knee thru the railing. Her son just turned one on the 22nd of December and weighs 22lbs and 29 inches long.
The issue is become more frequent now that he is able to stand. She had to free his leg twice on the same day recently.
The consumer says that she spoke to the branded company who said that they don’t make the crib. The manufacturer told her that the crib complies with all federal laws.
The consumer says that she is upset that the manufacturer and brand company are willing to just pass the buck and not take any responsibility.
