The product, in the report: Blue baby bath sling that corresponds to large bubbling bath. The sling and frame are removable from the bath.

The fabric sling from my daughters’ Lil’ Luxuries Whirlpool, Bubbling Spa & Shower bath has stretched and detached from the frame making it unsafe and unusable.

  2. No one hurt

Made Nov 12, 2015, sent to the company Apr 25, 2016, published by CPSC May 16, 2016

The product, in the report: Infant bathtub with shower head, whirlpool, and removable infant sling.

The infant sling detaches from the base and drops the baby head-first into the water. The company sent me a replacement sling, but I had the same problem within a month of using it. Also, the battery pack is not airtight which caused the battery acid to leak into the bath water.

Made Nov 3, 2013, sent to the company Nov 8, 2013, published by CPSC Nov 25, 2013

The product, in the report: Lil’ Luxuries® Whirlpool, Bubbling Spa & Shower

I am reporting the Summer Infant Lil’ Luxuries® Whirlpool, Bubbling Spa & Shower. The infant sling that wraps around the hard plastic frame slipped off at the head when I was bathing my baby. Fortunately, I was supporting her head/neck at the time, but wasn’t anticipating it coming loose. Her head fell back into my hand. If my hand hadn’t been there, her head would have hit the bottom of the tub and gone underwater. I cared for the sling according to the manufacturer’s recommendations on the tag of the sling, and always secured it properly. After this incident, I tested the sling again, without baby. Very light pressure at the head portion of the sling caused it to immediately slip off the frame. This product is HIGHLY unsafe!!!!!!
