My daughter was in her crib napping and woke up screaming (something she never does). Upon going into her room to get her, I found her leg caught in the rail of the crib up to the top of thigh. This has happened on more than one occasion. I have never used bumpers as they are not recommended due to the potential of suffocation. It was extremely difficult to get her out and I noticed she had significant markings and bruising on her leg prior to getting it out from in between the rails. I am beyond upset that this happened to my child and fear what could have happened. Companies need to be held responsible for these types of incidents.
