Hurt, care not known Made Nov 28, 2012, sent to the company Dec 18, 2012, published by CPSC Jan 11, 2013
The product, in the report: Infant Baby Crib Orbelle EMMA color White Wood Purchased 10-19-2011 from Diapers.com Stationary Sides Orbelle Trade Inc. 347 Clinton Street Hempstead NY 11550 Phone: 516-481-1500 - During our store hours only. Fax: 516-481-1533 - 24 / 7 e-mail: customerservice@orbelle.com - 24 / 7 Store Hours: Monday - Thursday 9am - 4pm Friday 9am - 3pm I did register the crib on their web site for recalls when I purchased it.
There have been 4 incidents so far of my 12 month old grand daughter’s leg getting wedged between the rails in the sides of the crib between the side slats while she sleeps. She moves around during sleep and her legs slip through the side. She wakes up screaming. However, one time in particular, her position and wedging was very severe. My daughter had to nearly break the slats to get her loose. It left red marks on her legs. My daughter has put the bumper pads back into and has helped a little to prevent new trappings, but she still slips through. When my daughter measured the width between her very sturdy [REDACTED] Crib, the Orbelle Emma Crib’s slats are further apart. Her son was never trapped in this manner in his [REDACTED] Crib. If my daughter is not close by, I am afraid damage to my grand daughter’s leg could happen as the slats cut off circulation.

No one hurt Made Sep 27, 2012, sent to the company Oct 5, 2012, published by CPSC Oct 29, 2012
The product, in the report: Orbelle Crib Jenny 3 in 1 Crib Cherry Finish 46” H x 30” W x 53” D Front Rail is the main issue The integrity of crib wood has failed
When we sat down to build this crib, both my husband and I were surprised with how flimsy the entire crib felt. Of course, seeing the JPMA Certified sticker, we were hoping to be able to rely on that. My son has used this crib for about 9 months now (13 month old boy). When we leaned up against the crib always made us nervous, because it didn’t feel safe. Well, the other day my husband leaned against the crib to carefully put a sleeping toddler down and the rail snapped. My husband weighs 190 lbs, but that should not be an issue. A crib only used for 9 months shouldn’t snap like that. Also, the paint has been chipped along both rails where my son will stand and wait to be picked up. According to the process that the JPMA goes through before certifying this crib. This crib should be sustainable. However, it clear is not. My son is pretty calm in his crib, but I couldn’t imagine when he gets older being in this “3 in 1” crib. The crib is not sustainable, certainly not able to fulfill it’s promise of “3 in 1”, and the finish on the crib is not safe either.
