The product, in the report: Baby Cache Montana Crib
We bought the Baby Cache Montana Crib a little over a year ago. We spoke up a few days ago to our one year old daughter screaming because she got her leg stuck in gaps of the crib. They advise you not to wear bumpers, however this is what happens. Even when you put bumpers on there, this shouldn’t happen.

Hello: Please see order information below. Order Date: 04/22/14 Location and Item(s) for Store Pickup: BABIES R US - ASHEVILLE [8816] ASHEVILLE, NC 28803 Description: Baby Cache Montana Lifetime Convertible Crib - Driftwood Quantity: 1 @ $339.99
On January 7th my daughter called me about 1:00 pm . After hearing her daughter waking she entered the nursery and saw her daughters leg wedged in the crib rungs. My daughter was quite shaken and I could hear the baby crying. She was laying on her back unable to stand or turn her leg. Her leg had swollen and when my daughter tried to spay soapy water to maneuver her leg she would cry out . I suggested my daughter call 911 my daughter said she she would like to put me on speaker phone and asked if I would talk to her daughter to keep her calm while she retrieved a hand saw from her basement so I did. I asked her to quickly take a picture to document this accident then within 5 minutes of getting the saw she cut a wedge from the cribs rail and freed her daughters leg. It was quite emotional for them both she gave her daughter lots of hugs and praise and I advised her to call the pediatrician office to get medical attention so she did that day. Her daughter was seen and released with information to treat a swollen knee. The doctor also invited several colleges into the examination room to see the baby and view the photos. I contacted Babies R Us the same day as well as the manufacture of the crib Baby Cache. and JPMA . After leaving 2 message and 1 email with Baby Cache I received a call back on Monday January 11th. They advised me they would send a claim form for a replacement damaged piece on the crib “The foot board” (as it is a convertible crib). After receiving the form and discussing the accident with my daughter we request from Baby Cache a refund for the baby crib that we feel is defective. I was notified that they do not do refunds and comply with JPMA. On behalf of my granddaughter my daughter and myself We thank you [REDACTED]
